The format for the workshop is as follows;

The play write will submit of what he feels are the best contrasting 2 scenes from the play. 

  The scenes will be read once :

·        The reading will then scored be using the abridged 5 question TinFish worksheet.

·        Then the scenes will be moved to the theater.

·        The scenes will then be worked like a cold reading audition/scripted rehearsal scene.

·         Those not performing will have the opportunity to show what they would have done differently with the scene.

·        The scenes are scored again using the same 5question worksheet.

·        The new play scenes must show improvement, from the reading to when it is gotten up on its feet.

·        To be considered for a staged reading the average score for the scenes must be above a 7.

·        The scenes submitted should be no longer than 10 pages

·        The playwright will provide a synopsis of the entire play.

·        The playwright will provide a character breakdown of the entire play

·        The playwright will provide a running time of the entire play

·        The majority of the casting for the staged reading will be taken from those actors who attend the workshop.

·        A director will be assigned from those attending the workshop.

·        The workshop is open to current TinFish Productions company members,

·        Those Theater professionals who have worked with TinFish or Depth Charge Productions in the past.

·        Those Theater professionals who currently are cast in either a TinFish or Depth Charge Production.

·        Those Theater professionals who are invited and escorted by a current company member

·        All others will pay $20.00 to attend the workshop
